Welcome to Moose Lake Lodge

Moose Lake is located 300 miles north of Vancouver, near Tweedsmuir Park, in the wilderness of the Upper Blackwater River, and Upper Dean River region of British Columbia. There, beyond the reach of highways and roads, lies what freshwater fishing dreams are made of.

The lodge features a spacious dining room with large picture windows and a spectacular view of Moose Lake framed by distant mountain ranges. Eight comfortable log cabins, complete with bathrooms, sleep two to four guests each.
Moose Lake is filled with wild native Rainbow Trout, fattened on freshwater shrimp. These scrappy trout readily take a fly or lure.

Moose Lake Lodge is located in the west-central wilderness area of BC. There are no roads and only total wilderness. The only way to the lodge is via air.

In addition to the main lodge at Moose Lake, we offer fishing and vacationing at a second lodge located 70 air miles west of Moose Lake, on the Pacific Ocean Coast of British Columbia, at the mouth of the world famous Dean River. The Dean River Lodge is just as remote and beautiful as our main lodge at Moose Lake.

If you are an adventurer who wants remote and wilderness fishing, we offer flyout rivers and lakes that are totally wild. The scenery, solitude and fishing are a real adventure.

For our customers convenience, we have built private runways next to both of our lodges for wheeled aircraft to land at. In addition, float planes may land right at our docks at both lodges. Both of our private strips are located on aviation charts.

In addition to fishing, we offer many varied activities for the vacationer and adventurer. Please select any of the pages below for an overview of all of our lodges, our outcamps, and other types of vacations.
