Take A Trail Ride!

Our guides will outfit you with a horse to suit your speed and style. We have a stable of horses that were born and raised here at Moose Lake, trustworthy, sure-footed animals that are a pleasure to ride. You may choose to ride locally for a few hours or to spend a full day riding to Trophy Lake to fish for lunker Rainbows.

For the history buff, we recommend a two-day ride on the Alexander Mackenzie Heritage Trail. This route from the Fraser River to the Pacific was explored by Mackenzie in 1793. On this ride, you will retrace his footsteps through the ancient Ulkatcho Indian Village, and you will have the opportunity to see and photograph wildlife along the trail.
