salmonThe Alaskan Game Fisher is a small family run charter business providing salmon & halibut fishing in Cook Inlet, & freshwater salmon fishing on the world famous Kenai River. We specialize in custom made trips for small groups of 4-6 people for multi-day packages, where a one on one personal relationship with our clients is offered.

We have one of the largest and most comfortable vessels in the marine fishery off of Deep Creek. Unlike Homer, where your travel time by boat is 2-3 hours, our travel time is only 30-60 minutes. With Alaskan Game Fisher you will always fish with a local & experienced skipper. You will also always get your own fish back.

We are also one of the only charter outfits that offer Penn International 2 speed reels, along with fighting belts to help land the hard fighting Halibut that can exceed 400 lbs. With this high quality equipment, along with our experienced crew, even the beginner and smallest of fishermen can enjoy the thrill & excitement that Alaska fishing has to offer!

New for 1998, we are adding a flexibility package that will give our clients the opportunity to make daily changes to their schedule as fishing conditions change daily. This package is based on the whole boat for a fun day for your group only. We highly recommend this approach as it gives you many advantages.

OUR VESSELS

Our salt water boat is a 1996, 30'x10' cabin cruiser, the largest in the Deep Creek fishery. It has 88 square feet of fishing boatdeck space where 6 people can fish comfortably. The cabin has two bench seats, two air ride chairs and a porta potty for your convenience. The vessel is equipped with a full array of electronics to find and take you to the fish. Twin 150 hp outboards get you to the fishing grounds at a speed of 30-45 mph.

Our 20' flat bottomed river sled is powered by a quiet 4 stroke outboard and has 5 padded seats, rod holders, and large fish box specifically designed for salmon fishing on the Kenai River.

ACCOMMODATIONS

We offer 1st class lodging on all our packages. In Soldotna we have a 2 bedroom 4 plex that is fully furnished with kitchen, utensils, washer & dryer, refrigerator, 3-4 beds, and a sofa. In Ninilchik we house our guests at the Creekside Inn, with motel style rooms, hot tub, breakfast, and sack lunch included.

FISHING EQUIPMENT

At Alaska Game Fisher we provide only the best! For halibut we have custom made 5 1/2 foot stand up rods with Penn. International 2 speed reels. These reels make it easy for anyone to bring up a hefty halibut. We provide rods belts and an experienced deckhand to assist you. For salmon we provide Shimano baitcaster reels with 8 1/2 foot rods custom built for the mighty Kenai Kings.
