Established in 1951, the 7-V Ranch
is located on the edge of the Missouri River Breaks and, because of our unique location,
we can offer you quality deer and antelope hunting in widely diverse settings. We
offer quality bow hunts for elk also. All hunting is done on the 120 square miles
of privately owned or leased land and we offer the hunter a chance for a great hunt.
All hunting is done by pickup or walking.
In addition to the antelope, deer, elk, and buffalo hunting, we have a nice variety
of upland birds, sage grouse, sharptail grouse, hungarian partridge and turkeys.
After your tags are filled, there are scenic places of interest to see and photograph
as well as prairie dog towns to look at in awe as well as try your luck.
Or, if you prefer, you can spend your time fishing from the rainbow trout pond
located just a few feet away from your cabin door.
All hunts require a 50% deposit in the form of a cashier's check, the balance
in cash upon arrival. We furnish excellent cooking and lodging facilities in modern,
heated cabins. The hunter, of course, must furnish rifle, ammunition, sleeping bag
and personal effects.
You must apply for your licenses from: Special Licensing, 1420 East Avenue, P.O.
Box 8012, Helena, Mt. 59604. The antelope is on a drawing basis and must be applied
for by June 1. The deer are on a drawing or as a guaranteed license. The elk are
on a guaranteed license, with drawings in our area for rifle permits. The deer and
elk must be applied for by March 16. We will be happy to furnish you with appropriate
application forms with the correct areas indicated for your best chance of success.
If you are unsuccessful in a drawing, your full deposit will be returned, or if
you wish, held as next year's deposit.
Prices will be quoted to you by telephone and are based on two hunters per
guide. For those of you who wish to hunt on a one hunter per guide basis, there is
a daily surcharge to help defray the costs of an extra guide, his food and gasoline.

Industries, Camp Fire Club, Safari Club, as well as many other hunters and sportsmen
from large and small companies, professions and privately owned organizations from
all over the United States and other parts of the world. We would like to have you
