Antelope Creek Outfitters is located in northeast Montana, 10 miles west of Glasgow and approximately 60 miles south of the Canadian border. We offer excellent archery and rifle hunting for antelope, mule deer and white-tailed deer as well as upland game birds and varmints. Hunting is done on privately owned land, BLM and state leases.

4x4 vehicles are used for transportation in the fields. While hunting, walking can be kept to a mininum if desired. When hunting Antelope and Mule deer, you will glass and stalk with shots ranging from 50 to 300 yards. White-tailed deer are hunted from stands or blinds with shots within the same range. |
| In addition to single or group hunts, we offer husband and wife hunts, family hunts and hunts for people with some types of handicaps. Because we hunt from ranch headquarters each day rather than from spike camps, you will have showers and heated rooms each night. Included with your hunt is lodging, meals, guide, transportation while hunting, field dressing and packing out of your game. | ![]() |
Your day begins with a ranch size breakfast at a time agreeable to you, a nourishing lunch to be eaten in the field, and a hearty evening meal to round out the day. Evenings may be spent relaxing, visiting, watching videos if desired, or just an early retirement in preparation for the hunt the next day.

Hunting terrain includes creek and river bottoms, coulees, draws and sage brush flats. Montana weather can be unpredictable. Temperatures may range from light jacket to extreme cold and snow, so you will want to be prepared and pack accordingly. |
Your stay does not end when you have taken your primary animals. You may spend the remainder of your booked time hunting upland birds, sight seeing, or spend a leisurely day photographing the area. You are our guest and will be treated as such during your entire stay.
Our facilities include modern trailer homes, with showers, kitchen facilities as well as a heated bunkhouse and camper trailers. You will be provided with comfortable beds, bedding, and towels. We are happy to book hunts for couples and families. Meals are family style at the ranch house, and when hunting, the noon meal generally consists of a box lunch.
You should call or write for your license application from the Montana Dept. of Fish, Wildlife and Parks, at 1420 E. Sixth Ave., Helena, MT 59620-0701. If this is inconvenient, contact us and we can help you obtain your license. Timing is critical, so we suggest you apply by early March. Uplandbird licenses may be obtained at any time from most sporting goods stores. We will assist you in every way possible to obtain your license.
Game bird season (with the exception of pheasant)and archery opens early September - antelope season opens in mid-October - deer season runs late October through November.
We book only a limited amount of hunts each season, allowing us to serve you better. We do require a deposit to confirm all bookings, and if you fail to obtain the license you want, you may apply your deposit to the following seasons hunt.
We expect you to arrive late afternoon or early evening the day prior to your hunt, and upon arrival will be directed to your accommodations. We do encourage you to sight in your rifle and scope prior to hunting, and have an area handy to do so.
Do not forget to bring clothing in layers, your hunting license, rifle, bow, and personal effects. Please also remember that a blaze orange hunting vest or jacket is required. You will need some type of cooler or storage capability to transport your meat home. We do provide all field care of game and trophies, rough caping and transportation of your meat to any of several local processors who can cut, wrap and label it to your specifications. We can also recommend and direct you to quality taxidermists in the area, if you wish your trophies mounted.
Our ranch headquarters are located on Antelope Creek, which flows into the Milk River, just a few short miles away. We are a working cattle ranch, and offer you the warmth and friendliness of home. Your Hosts are Bud and Gwen Cornwell. Bud is a member of the North American Hunting Club, an Official Scorer for the Safari Club International, and a member of the Montana Outfitters and Guides Association.
