Centennial Outfitters is pleased to offer "away from the crowd" horseback pack trips into the back country of the Lima peaks Area and the Centennial Mountains Primitive Area in Southwest Montana. Our horses are gentle and trailwise. Previous riding experience is helpful but not required. Abundant wildlife, breathtaking scenery and beautiful wildflowers offer infinite photography and sight-seeing opportunities. We provide fishing adventures, cookouts, and back country camping in the tradition of the mountain west. We cater to a complete family experience and to individual plans of each group. All trips include free pick up at the airport. |

Missouri Head waters Pack Trip |

Explore the head waters of the Missouri River and view the furthermost rivulet that eventually forms the longest continuous waterway in the world, over 4,000 miles to the Gulf of Mexico. Ride through spectacular scenery, camp near a mountain alpine lake (fishing optional), and enjoy family-style cooking by the campfire. Arrive Monday and depart Friday. Lima Peaks Pack Trip |

Venture through a rocky canyon, cross a rushing stream several times to arrive on the backside of Garfield, the tallest of the Lima Peaks, 10,961 feet. Gain insight into mountain history as you explore Indian writings, caves and hunting grounds. Stream fishing optional. Arrive Monday and depart Friday. Cost per person: $800 |
