Set in the beautiful
surroundings of the Blackfoot River Valley at the base of Markum and Mineral mountains, is where you will find the McCormick's Sunset Guest Ranch.
Being a real live WORKING cattle ranch & Hunting area, there are many activities that our guests can choose from. The river offers several swimming holes, or perhaps a hike finishing with a swim. For the fishing enthusiast, we offer
eight miles of exclusive private access to the Blackfoot River and some of its tributary streams.
If you are a fly fisherman, the Blackfoot River and these streams are
accessible only from our private property and offer you unmatched opportunity to catch and release beautiful fish. You can fish in the ripples of the river or around beaver dams in ponds, but in either case your skills can be rewarded with the rise of the fish and excitement of the catch.
Just a short drive around the ranch and there is fishing and swimming in Brown's Lake. The ranch has lots of secluded spots to sit, enjoy nature and relax. For those of you that may be interested, there is some type of ranch work going on almost anytime of the day. |

BUNK 'N BISCUIT
McCormick's Sunset Guest Ranch is a working cattle ranch that was homesteaded by the
McCormick's in the 1870's. It is located on 1600 acres that border the Blackfoot River. Our woods abound with wildlife such as eagles, deer, coyotes, elk and owls. The river offers fishing, boating and swimming. We also have lakefront property on Brown's Lake.

Hunting
We hunt in area 290, a 20 mile by 10 mile valley that has been designated archery only since 1950. This region of unsurpassed natural beauty has two rivers, two lakes, a reservoir, and numerous creeks and streams. As a result of this lush environment, there is a large whitetail deer population, abundant flocks of waterfowl and an
ample elk herd.
